Welcome to TigerPlace, an exciting new concept in community living for seniors (not the ones in college) that has been developed as collaboration with Americare, the University of Missouri and Sinclair School of Nursing.

assortment of services allows you to receive any necessary health care in the comfort of your own residence. Life at TigerPlace includes:

*Nurse-on-call  response  24/7
*Exercise classes  Monday  thru  Friday
*Access to the on-site Wellness Center
             *Up   to  4  RN   visits  annually

just minutes from campus, offers both one-and two-bedroom apartments complete with kitchens, baths, screened porches and optional garages. Monthly rent includes housekeeping, self-selected dining packages, basic health and wellness program and 24-hour response through a state-of-the-art call system. TigerPlace combines the excitement of campus life with the comforts of home. 
 

As a resident of TigerPlace, you're  connected to the dynamic University culture and offered an array of on and off-site activities. You'll also be invited to participate in student and faculty research projects that are focused on maintaining and improving the quality of life for all of us.

Unique to TigerPlace is its emphasis on health, wellness and preventive care -  we call it TigerCare.*      This    innovative

*Regularly scheduled wellness assessments
*Customized     strength,     flexibility     and             endurance programs

Regularly participating in TigerCare will give you access to timely check-ups by the team of wellness experts at Senior Care, a licensed home health agency of the MU Sinclair School of Nursing. As your needs change you  can   contract  for  additional   services,

including Medicare Home Health, to help you maintain your independence. The TigerCare team will also be available to help you make the right choices and plans should hospitalization or rehabilitative care be required.

 Our goal remains clear - to help each and every person remain at TigerPlace for as long as they choose.

TigerCare brings the client the right care at the right time, and thus may eliminate the need to move. Our "aging in place" model for delivering health services is one of only four state-approved sites in Missouri.
